Hello!

Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Amanda Fawell (she/her/hers), and I'm a spunky performer and multi hyphenate artist based in NYC. I graduated from Indiana University (spring 2023) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in creative writing. 

I love to wear many hats- I enjoy performing but feel most inspired when I have a hand in the creative process. I write, direct, and produce my own work, and always love to meet artists who enjoy devising and collaborating! I believe that theatre has the power to change minds, heal, and evolve our society, and it is my goal to find a community of artists who feel similarly! I am a passionate activist and I hope to incorporate women's rights, LGBTQ+ visibility, antiracism, and other forms of inclusive education into my creative career.

I work year round at Broadway Artists Alliance, where I am the auditions coordinator, social media creator, student advisor, and coach! I also have my own private coaching studio for those looking for private song interpretation lessons, audition/ college audition prep, or career coaching. Learn more here! 

When I’m not performing, I enjoy creating in many other ways: I appreciate and author poetry (click here to learn more about me as a writer) I design and construct jewelry (click here to learn about by earring business), crochet, paint, and graphic design. I have also been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I am an avid foster kitty mum. I am someone who truly loves life, and I plan to spend it experiencing as much joy, truth, and creativity as possible!
